Holiday Gifting of Adam Lambert’s “The Original High” to Stowarzyszenie Lambda Warszawa, Poland

Lambda Warsaw has been helping LGBT community for 18 years, making us the oldest LGBT organization in Poland. We offer professional psychological counselling, therapy, coaching free of charge. What is more, we also provide legal counselling, also for free. We run the only  Helpline in Poland that is open Mon-Fri. There are many support and meeting groups in Lambda such as the group for LGBT Christians, for women, for people with disabilities, for parents of LGBT children, for students. Lambda Warsaw is the only organization in Poland that has its own LGBT library and archive. Our organization is also known for its partyworking activities in LGBT clubs in Warsaw where we educate about safe sex, HIV and STI (we follow harm reduction approach) and distribute condoms and lubricants. This year we started running the first LGBT shelter in Central Europe, as for now we helped 30 persons in starting their life from the beginning.

The donated Adam Lambert CDs will be given as thank you to our young volunteers that help us, to the people in our shelter and at our events such as film screenings.

We are grateful for your offer to donate Adam Lambert’s music to Lambda Warsaw so thank you fans of Adam Lambert!  We are excited to know that Adam will be having a concert in Warsaw in April 2016.

LGBT Youth Scotland is the largest youth and community-based organisation for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people in Scotland. The charity’s mission is to:

“empower lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender young people and the wider LGBT community so that they are embraced as full members of the Scottish family at home, school and in every community.”

The work of LGBT Youth Scotland is delivered by a dedicated and hard working team of staff and volunteers, working across Scotland. Holiday Gifting of Adam Lambert’s #TheOriginalHigh Kicks Off w/ @_TouchofSparkle Movember !

The Holiday season is fast approaching & with it comes our “The Original High  Holiday Gifting Celebration” 🙂

Several  new Youth Organizations in various countries have signed on to receive donations of “The Original High.”  The gifted CDs will be distributed to their Youth members & their hard working volunteers & at their upcoming events. 🙂  TBA next week-ish 😉

To kick off our Holiday Gifting Celebration – we have the wonderful “Touch of Sparkle” and their “Movember” campaign! 🙂

Touch of Sparkle is a project run by Adam Lambert UK fans (on an unofficial basis) to provide little ‘care packages’ to patients undergoing chemotherapy for cancer treatment. The project is run in aid of the Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (reg. charity no. 1048868). 

The project has really taken off since Adam himself acknowledged its work on Twitter in July. 175 care packs have been donated to date and a new batch of 50 care packs for men will be donated in November to mark Movember. Adam himself has supported male cancer charities, having performed at a fundraising event for One For The Boys in June.

The idea behind Touch of Sparkle is to spread a little care and humanity and try to lighten the load during this difficult stage of the patients’ journey. The packages include practical items (e.g. bed socks, tissues, vouchers, sweets, herbal tea for anti-sickness) as well as distractions (e.g. puzzle books, pens, earphones, playing cards), pamper items (e.g. nail varnish, lip balm, eyebrow powder for hair loss) and a copy of Adam Lambert’s new album, The Original High.

Touch of Sparkle is a project run by Adam Lambert fans to provide little ‘care packages’ to ladies undergoing treatment for breast cancer and other cancers. The project is run in aid of the Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (registered charity number 1048868) in Cambridge, UK on an unofficial fan basis.

The idea is to spread a little care and humanity and try to lighten the load during this difficult stage of the patients’ journey. 75 care packages have been donated so far and the next batch is already underway! The packages include practical items (e.g. bed socks, tissues, takeout vouchers, sweets, peppermint tea) as well as distractions (e.g. puzzle books, pens, earphones) and pamper items (e.g. nail varnish, lipbalm, eyebrow powder for hair loss). We very much hope to extend the project over time, drawing on Adam’s ethos of caring and acceptance.
